Samhain Greeting Cards
This is the selection of cards I have chosen for the season of Samhain (November -January). Please click on the photo to see the whole image. You can order cards from my Etsy shop . Cards are $3.25 each (please order by the code number which appears when you click the image in the shop) or $15.00 for a set of six (please choose Set One, Set Two or Set Three — or create your own set of six). Up to 24 cards can be shipped priority mail for a flat rate of $5.90. Other shipping options are available for smaller or larger amounts. The winter season of Samhain is also the start of the ancient Irish year.
As winter spiritual guides we welcome St Nicholas (a Russian shrine circa 1600), the Smolensk Mother of God, the face of Peace carved on the portal of the Cathedral in Cork, Ireland, an overflowing heart from the Burren on the west coast of Ireland, Buddha’s Hands, and three angels by the extraordinary stained glass artist, Harry Clarke, from Killaloe.
For the winter florals, I have the dancing blooms of amaryllis, orchids from the botanic garden, hydrangeas from Beara, holiday berries caught draped over a wall in Mobile, a graceful bonsai, and one glorious rose from Tintinhull gardens outside Bath, England.
The landscapes include the winter Cloisters in New York, Stonehenge — grass still green late in November, a stone staircase worn by centuries of climbing feet in Wells Cathedral, a bright red door in Bath (England), a view through the arches of Canterbury, and a beautiful brick wall and window from Sissinghurst.

Prints of any of my photographs are available in either 5″ x 7″ (for $18.00) or 8″ x 10″ (for $25.00). Some prints are also available in the 11″ x 14″ size for $45.00 and in 12″ x 18″ or 16″ x 20″ sizes (price on request). Prints will be shipped matted in a complementary color.
